<!—spoiler_text—>Thomas and the Billboard: A photographer comes to the railyard to take a portrait of all the trains. The photographer tells one of the trains to move forward, not realizing that Thomas is cut out of the photograph. Thomas blames the other train and goes about trying to have the photograph re-done without the other train. Once Thomas realizes his mistake he feels really bad, and tries to make up for the whole mess. Thomas realizes that going behind everyone’s back to try to exclude the other engine is wrong and that he’s caused a

Steady Eddie: Edward is one of the older trains, and is known for being “Steady Eddie”. Edward is given a very special cargo to pull because of his reputation for steadiness. Instead of delivering it directly, Edward wants to take a route that takes him past the other trains and people so that they can admire his special cargo. A mishap happens because Edward doesn’t follow the route that Topham Hatt asked him to use. Edward’s precious cargo almost ends up being melted down at the smelters, instead! With some help from his friends, he rescues his cargo and delivers it safely. Edward realizes that doing his job well and delivering his cargo safely is far more rewarding than the cheers and attention.

Rosie’s Carnival Special: Sir Topham Hatt asks Rosie to be the “back engine” and push the Carnival Special while Emily pulls the train as the “front engine”. Rosie wants to do it herself, so she rushes to get there first and tries to pull the train. One train can’t do it herself, and so the train comes apart leaving parts of the train along the tracks. Rosie arrives with only a couple of the cars and is very ashamed of herself. To make things better she rounds up the cars and Emily pulls them while Rosie is the back train. Together they bring the Carnival train in on time. Rosie realizes that teamwork is sometimes necessary and that it’s just as rewarding to accomplish something as part of a team.

Mountain Marvel: Peter Sam takes a shortcut and finds a statue of a mythical figure that is very important to the trains. Peter Sam wants to haul it back himself so he can be a star. It’s so heavy that he can’t stop at the bottom of a hill, and crashes into a buffer, blocking all the tracks and making it so that none of the trains can bet back. He asks for their help and then shares the credit for having found it and brought it back. Peter Sam realizes that there doesn’t have to be “one” star.

Henry Gets it Wrong Sodor: has a special “Wishing Tree” that the engines love to wish on. When a summer storm strikes and the Wishing Tree is hit by lightening, Henry is sent to pick up some special woodmen. When Henry is told that sometimes special woodmen cut down trees, he blocks all the tracks so that no one can get to the tree to cut it down. When Henry realizes that the woodsmen were there to HELP the tree and that without them it might need to be taken down, he rushes to fix his mistake. Henry realizes that he assumed the worst, and nearly lost something special to him as the result.

Don’t Go Back: Diesel challenges Thomas to a race. Backwards! Because they can’t see where they’re going, they crash into a bunch of things and cause problems. Thomas feels bad that he hasn’t gotten his work done and that he’s caused problems for the other engines. Diesel wants to keep racing, but Thomas has to fix all of his mistakes first. Once he’s fixed them he agrees to a final race on the condition that both the trains race forwards so that they can see where they’re going. Thomas learns two important lessons: That you should get your work done before playing, and that you should be careful when playing.[/spoiler]
